*Members of the Orchestra, other Musicians who have performed at least five times with the Philharmonic during the 24 months prior to the first day of the month in which the vacancy is published in the International Musician, and other individuals who are permanent residents within the geographic area of the jurisdiction of the Local, shall have the opportunity of auditioning for a vacancy in the Orchestra prior to the holding of national auditions. The position may be awarded as a result of this local audition and a national audition need not be held. If the position is not awarded at the local audition, any Musician who played at the audition may still participate in the national auditions.
Pending the outcome of local auditions, a national audition may be held on Monday, March 31, 2025.
