AUDITION INFORMATION

  • Audition date: May 10, 2025 – Preliminary/ Finals

  • Résumé deadline: April 25, 2025

  • Notification sent to invited candidates: May 1, 2025

  • Audition Repertoire will be posted no later than March 24, 2025

  • Applicants can send a one-page resume to: orchaud@atlantaopera.org

  • Audition Location: 1575 Northside Dr NW; Building 300, Suite 350; Atlanta, GA 30318

  • The Atlanta Opera does not offer financial assistance for Auditions

  • The Atlanta Opera Orchestra is an AFM Union engagement

    • Musicians work under the current CBA Agreement

  • The Atlanta Opera Season is four Mainstage productions and two Discoveries productions, annually from August through May

    • Not all musicians are contracted to play all productions

  • The average number of services per production is ten

  • The winner of the audition will be expected to accept the 2025-26 Mainstage Season, which is Approximately October – early June
