Section Viola (4 seats) - West Virginia Symphony

Auditions will be held in Charleston, WV, on Monday, April 14.

The WV Symphony is located in Charleston, WV as a regional per-service orchestra with about 55 services per season (September-May). The orchestra performs at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences – WV for 6 symphonic masterworks concerts and 4 Pops offerings, plus an annual Nutcracker (3 performances) and Young People’s Concerts. Some concerts runout to various locations in WV. For more specific information, please ask at personnel@wvsymphony.org.

Current contract rates are listed on the website at wvsymphony.org/auditions. There is a contracted mileage rate with a cap of 600-miles round trip. Per diem is provided; double-occupancy hotel is provided during service weekends. Single rooms are available with musician covering ½ room cost.
