Please enter the building through stage door located near the intersection of Fourth Ave and Demonbreun St. 

Additional Information

All rounds will take place on stage in Laura Turner Hall and will be held behind a screen. 

To apply, please submit a one-page resume in pdf format via our online application, with your name included as the file name. Additionally, a refundable $100 check made out to Nashville Symphony must be mailed to complete the application. Please ensure the auditionee's name is printed or written on the check.

Upon receiving your application materials, all subsequent correspondence will be via email, so please verify your email address is correct and up to date. Following the application deadline, the audition committee may choose to screen résumés. A candidate who does not pass the initial screening process will be asked to send a recording. Review of such recording will determine whether an invitation to audition will be extended to that candidate.

If you wish to cancel your application, please do so by March 21, 2025. All materials must be postmarked by February 13, 2025.

Employment to begin in the 2025/26 Season. 

The salary for section second violin is pending results of negotiations. For reference, the 2024/25 season salary for this position is $72,000.
