Position Details
Per-service Section Bass is contracted to play a minimum of 80 services each season for the following series, among others: KSO Masterworks Series, Chamber Series, Pops Series, Young Peoples Concerts, and Clayton Holiday Concerts.
Pay for the 2025-26 season will be $137.78 per-service. The KSO provides a pension contribution of 3.5% of total earnings.
The Knoxville Symphony does not reimburse musicians for mileage or provide lodging. The Knoxville Symphony cannot offer employment if a musician does not have proper immigration clearances.
